You heard it here first, we're looking for a first class Vice President of Client Services.

June was another record quarter for us. We launched the upgraded platform, rolled out a number of significant communities and made great strides in new customer acquisition.. four times the sales for this same time last year.

Things are moving along at quite a clip, but we are going to run into client implementation challenges if we let it get away from us. Time to bring on board a top class executive to lead our client services teams. For the right individual, it's a fabulous spot in a fast growing and exciting environment with a huge market opportunity.

I'm interested in connecting with folks who think they may be the Awareness VP, Client Services.

I met with Francois Gossieaux and the folks from Beeline Labs earlier this week. They're a marketing innovations team with great individual pedigrees and plenty of experience in building online communities. Francois was one time Chief Marketing officer of eRoom, a successful collaboration software company that pioneered some of the techniques now referred to as viral marketing and the rest of the team is similarly impressive. You can read some of their recent work, "2008 TheTribalization of Business" a study they've been conducting alongside Deloitte. I recommend it.

Francois used one phrase in particular that struck home with me, ".. you don't have to change the way you work to roll out communities, but rolling out communities will definitely change the way you work.." Granted, a generalization, but not too overstated. As long as you do it right.

Hectic day for us yesterday.. nothing new there.. but a notable one for the company. We launched our Facebook application with the New York Times group and went live with our new website. Both projects have been in the works for weeks, so it was great for them to see the light of day.

The Facebook app has been very well received, you'll see other Awareness customers rolling out theirs in coming weeks.  And feedback on the new website has been very positive; at long last we were able to devote resources to start implementing some of the approaches we build for clients. I thought this comment was particularly appropriate, "Kudos - The cobbler's children finally have their own shoes!"
